I review each and every book I read. And even the ones I start and can't finish. So the easy answer is I get books from all over - the library, recommendations from other bloggers, friends, Amazon, etc. I am not a big book buyer and am a big library fan. Thus most of my books 'come' from there (and hopefully are returned in a timely manner - but not always).
As a blogger I've also received quite a few books from publishers and authors. That's definitely fun. Especially when it turns out to be a very good author and I go back to read their older novels.
I also have starting keeping track of my tbr books that are recommended by other bloggers and such via my LibraryThing account. I add them to my library and tag them as tbr so I can search through them when needed.
Where do you keep track of the books you have to read?

I have a basket that is full of all the magazines I have to read. My amazon wishlist is full of books I've seen on other's blogs.
I get books from all over too. I use a spreadsheet to keep track of my books.
I like the basket idea! I just have a pile, but that would make it a bit of decoration as well.

I have a box by my bed which is full of books to read. Anyone new ones I hear about I keep in a notebook. At the moment my notebook has a list of 81 books to read!
I review everything I read so my books come from all over too.
OMG, I WISH my TBR fit into a cute basket like that!
I hope your basket finds a home soon, Michele!
I did use an Excel spreadsheet but I haven't updated it for a while!

What a beautiful basket Michele! And it looks like you've got quite a nice collection of books in it.
You know, since becoming a blogger, I've also been contacted and accepted some books I wouldn't normally read, and it really is fun to go back and read the author's earlier books - I've been exposed to some great books I wouldn't otherwise have picked up.
Thanks for participating in Thingers last week! I've got the post up for this week - What's your favorite genre? ~ Wendi
